Mark Packwood
Founder and President
Mark Packwood is the founder and President of Praestantia Risk & Insurance Advisors (PRIA). He has over 20 years of experience providing commercial property and casualty insurance solutions and risk management consulting, working with clients of all sizes across a wide range of industries.
Prior to founding PRIA, Mark served as Senior Vice President of Brown & Brown Lone Star Insurance Services of Texas, a division of one of the largest publicly-traded U.S. insurance brokers, Brown & Brown, Inc., where he led the property and casualty insurance teams in Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. His career in risk management and insurance solutions began with Risk Control Services in Houston, Texas, advising temporary labor and staffing companies on strategies to reduce workers compensation costs and exposures.

Mark is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a degree in Economics. He is based in Houston, Texas, and is an active member of the local community, serving as a Board member and supporter of numerous non-profit charitable organizations.
